Congratulations to our September cohort who have all successfully passed their 2-day PMVA (Preventative Management of Violence & Aggression) training course.
Qualified nurses, Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers all attended the intensive course which was delivered by Paul, a highly qualified trainer with extensive knowledge in mental health and challenging behaviour.
The high-quality 2-day course is designed to teach healthcare workers how to safely manage themselves and others in potentially harmful situations. A range of skills are taught, including de-escalation, positive behaviour support, blocking punches and kicks, breakaway techniques and legal issues.
Training of this kind is especially useful (and sometimes a pre-requisite) in the NHS and private Mental Health settings.
If you’d like to enhance your career with a Jane Lewis PMVA training course, please register your interest for our next course at firstname.lastname@example.org
We had some wonderful feedback from our participants, 100% of whom rated the course as ‘excellent’.
