Jane Lewis Support Cupcake Day

Jane Lewis staff with Cupcakes

Jane Lewis supported Alzheimer’s Society today by taking part in ‘Cupcake Day’.

Staff at all branches were invited to bake or buy their choice of cupcakes, culminating in an irresistible display of delicious bakes, from homemade triple chocolate muffins to low-calorie Weightwatchers recipes.

Cakes were bought and enjoyed throughout the day, alongside fun games and a celebrity cupcake quiz.

In total, £184 was raised for the charity, with more to come! Every penny counts in the fight against dementia.

Alzheimer’s Society work towards beating dementia and helping all of those living with the condition to live a better life. From the point of diagnosis onwards, the charity reach out and provide support to everyone who needs it, from online information to local community awareness.

Jane Lewis Marketing Manager, Paula Bellis said, “My dad has had dementia since he was about 65, so I have seen the huge impact the condition has on families; and also, how much of a lifeline charities like Alzheimer’s Society provide.”

Cheshire Phoenix Basket Ball Team

Our client Kieran, 30, painted this picture of his favourite basketball teams emblem.

Kieran is a huge fan of the Cheshire Phoenix which was founded in 1984. He has been following the  team from a very early age.

Cheshire Phoenix also have a wheelchair basketball team, which Kieran plays for. The team began in 2014. The team encourages young people with and without disabilities to participate and be a part of the team.

Jane Lewis has previously sponsored Kieran’s team to help with purchasing new team jerseys and equipment.

We are very proud of Kieran’s picture and have it hanging in full view where everyone can see.
